COMING HOME

Hello everyone I come home Friday!!! I think i am going to see Jenny as soon as I go home becasue she is amazing. As for he rest of you, I will see some at the senior/officer pool party that i am going to crash! Im so excited about coming home but then i come back for band camp up here on the 8th. My ankle is doing a lot better now i can walk i just cannot run which sucks. I went to a braves game two weekends ago, then this weekend we went to gatlinburg and both were amazing! Tonight we had a reception and had to dress up nice and everything. It was fun. I have pictures from everything that i will put up on here!!!

Hey everyone

Okay so now everyone do not make fun of me because its not funny.. yet. On the weekends they always plan for us to do something. Well, last night was campus wide capture the flag. We were running threw campus and we were actually hiding behind a building because we saw someone on the other team coming. We went to go run to the safe zone and there was a curb. well i missed that but the pavement was uneven and i didn't realize it. I twisted my ankle really bad and began screaming at the top of my lungs. Well a cop that was off duty heard me in his car and stopped and called the actual cops that were working. I was in so much pain. Finally two of my RAs got there and were taking care of me. They had to call an ambulance because they thought my ankle was broken and it hurt that bad. They were all really nice to me but i was so scared. i called my mom on the way to the hospital and talked to her. I was by myself and i was scared and crying because i was alone for 25 minutes. i cried the whole time. Finally Janina and Matt got there and they are basically in charge of the program. I was so excited to see them and when i did i cried even more. They took me in to get the basic things taken care of then i waited and they took me back to get xrayed then to my own area to wait for my synopsis. Its not broken, it was a really bad sprain and it was almost broken. i got real lucky. I have an ace bandage and a splint. I have to rest and be on cruches for 5 days. It is going to be hard getting around to all my classes but i have to do it.

Well hello there. So i got out of doing the gay marriage project adn joined a new group thank god. i have no idea what we are doing but i am in the group. Well the first book i read for my literature class was Ham On Rye which was an amazing book and i definitely recommend it if you dont mind A LOT of profanity and everything else that comes with it.i have been here two weeks and love it. I loved it from the first time i saw the campus. My teachers are pretty awsome and everything especially Mr. Hlavaty(silent H) because all we to is have class discussion and write journals which i am use to by now, haha. My other teachers are really nice. There is a couple that teachs my college reading class and most of everything is online and we have to print it all off. Then i have a first year seminar class which my teacher is a quadrapalegic but really nice but i do not like his class as much because i hate lecture. The next book i am reading now is Into The Wild which is based on a true story and everyone says its very good, but i hate books that start with the end then go to the beginning. Classes have been awesome and i have made some pretty awesome people that i will post pictures of up here at the beginning! Dont worry though i havent forgotten about all my friends especially you jenny. I miss you and when i come home we will definately do something together! ill keepyou guys updated. Oh and i am doing very well on my grades so.. watch out i am leaving here with a 4.0!!!!! Keep looking at my blog because i will keep posting!!!

Gay Marriage

Okay everyone i really need feedback from you guys just because of this project I have to do. I do not want you to completely put aside your morals and values but take into consideration all the facts from various websites i am going to out on my blog. I want feedback and i might use your quotes in my project just to help prove my point. I hate my classes and I want to make these three guys i am working with be the most hated guys ever because of their reasoning for beign against gay marriage. Pros to gay marriage:

1. Denying them is a violation of religious freedom (civil and religious marriages are two separate institutions).
2. Marriage benefits (such as joint ownership, medical decision-making capacity) should be available to all couples.
3. Homosexuality is an accepted lifestyle nowadays with a proven biological causation.
4. Denying these marriages is a form of minority discrimination.
5. It doesn't hurt society or anyone in particular.
6. The only thing that should matter in marriage is love.
7. The number of child adoptions should increase since gay couples cannot pro-create (although some might see an increase in gay adoptions as an argument against same-sex marriages).
8. It encourages people to have strong family values and give up high-risk sexual lifestyle

You guys no this argumant is like arguing about whether or not we should be in Iraq. There will never be a correct answer. Just think about all this before you reply and I am really looking for answers that coincide with my views to use in my project. Everyone thanks for your help. i might keep osting facts just to help once i really get going on my research.

Hey everyone, well I am home from seattle and I had the best time ever with my brother and sister! I wish i could write about every second of the trip! Monday night we got there are it was at midnight before we got out of the airport so I was soo tired that night. WE had to drive to the base and sign Mikey( my brother) in and tell them he was back in WA. then we went straight home to bed. I slept so good and their couch was really comfortable. They Have two kitties Spaz and Aurora. They are both so adorable and so fluffy and cuddly.

Tuesday when we woke up, Bethany( sister in law) and we had a hair appointment and my hair is no longer orange!!!! its so exciting to know that! My hair looks really good now and brown with highlights like I wanted. WEnsday we went shopping at the commissary which is the food shopping place on base where u get everything cheaper. It was fun just shopping. And we need to hurry and get home because my brother wasnt feeling good so we wanted to get home. When we got home he was feeling a bit better so we went to the Olympia mall which is also called the capitol mall and we went to macy's to complete their bridal and gift registry, then we went into best buy to get me my laptop case and a wireless mouse, my mouse is pink to go with my laptop. Thursday my brother had 3 doctors appointments so for the first one i stayed home because it was at 9 in the morning and i didnt feel like getting up early to shower and do my hair. Then he had another one at 1 and Beth and I walked around the PX which is like the mall on base. It was fun. then he had another short one at the hospital and we were done. Then we went to bed bath and beyond and took care of the registry there and that was a really long story and i dont feel liek typing it all. Friday we just sorta hung out around the apartment because my brother still wasnt feeling good. We actually rented movies and watched Meet The Spartans- totally stupid- also, we watched National Treasure 2-amazing- along with The Bucket List and Jumper-both excellent movies! And everyone knows how much I love Disney movies and I was dying to watch The Lion King, and my brother had it :D, So i watched The Lion King and it was amazing, i forgot how much i love that movie. On to Saturday, We woke up and we all took our time getting dressed and everything to get ready to leave for Seattle. We lefty a little after noon and got right on the highway and made our way 45 minutes towards the beautiful city. When began to get into the city, we hit traffic for about 30 minutes and it was just basically people driving stupidly. We went and parked and started walking about Seattle. First, we went into a little mall they had right in the middle of Seattle and just looked around and some stores, then ate something before we headed out. We went into stores like Banana Republic and Anthropology. We came upon the big macy's there that is 4 stories and I was so excited. I got a new dress from there that i absolutely love! Then, we went to Old navy and i got some clothes there, like a shirt, a white tank top, a night gown, and a skirt. Then i was in heaven because we walked into American Eagle!!! I went crazy trying things on and i love everything I got!!! I got shorts and shirts and i was so happy i was in heaven! That was the day part of Saturday... now the night time was even more amazing because we got to eat dinner at the sea needle!!! It was so amazing and the food was so good! I got some amazing pictures of the city and even Mt. Rainer. It was so perfect and My brother, sister in law, and I all had an amazing talk! The best part about it was of course... DESERT! I had this thing called a Lunar ice cream sundae and when they bring it out to you they have dry ice under it and they pour water in to make it look like a alien ship! I was so amazing and good. :D So this night was absolutely amazing and i would not change anythign about this trip for the world except for Sunday. We basically hung out around the house and my brother cooked dinner before i had to leave and get to the airport and by 930. I was so unhappy about leaving and i didnt wanna come home. I loved it there so much and it tore me apart to come home and leave my brother and sister not knowing when i will get to see them again. I cried for forever before i got on the plane. I had a red eye that night which sucked and i only got about 2 hours of sleep out of a 4 hour plane ride. We flew into Newark and i got me some breakfast and went into some gift shops just to look and i ended up with a key chain and got my mom some socks cause she loves crazy socks. Then i was back on a plane to NC to come home. I was so tired i fell asleep before we even left the runway. Still the plane was uncomfortable but i tried to sleep. That was the best trip i had ever taken and i wish I could have stayed longer but i have to go to school soo... it wouldnt have worked. Finally i got this blog done. I hope you enjoyed reading about my trip i will pos another blog once i get settled into school! Miss you all!
